Manual de Ruido We Don’t Exist. But We Make Noise.

The four members of Manual de Ruido — two men and two women with long, curly hair — pose on a stone wall overlooking a Mediterranean harbor at sunset, with sailboats, palm trees and the city behind them.

Biography

Manual de Ruido is a fictional Spanish-language indie-rock band born from a simple idea: What if four characters who don’t exist could tell stories about things that happen to all of us?

Nicolás, Lucía, Vera, and Mateo have names, personalities, contradictions, and a shared history. They aren’t flesh-and-blood musicians. They’re characters created to inhabit a musical universe of their own.

The songs, however, explore very real experiences.

  • Families that change.
  • Conversations we never had.
  • Love that arrives at precisely the wrong moment.
  • People who seem to know exactly what they’re doing.
  • All those seemingly insignificant moments that eventually come to define a life.

Their sound moves between Spanish indie rock, Latin American alternative rock, melodic guitars, and experimental arrangements. Their music is developed through a human-directed creative process supported by artificial intelligence.

Manual de Ruido doesn’t pretend to be a conventional band. Its members are fictional characters, and its visual universe is an artistic creation.

But a song doesn’t need a traditional band behind it to evoke authentic emotions.

The band members are imaginary. The stories could be yours.

La Extraordinaria Vida Corriente

Their debut album, La Extraordinaria Vida Corriente (The Extraordinary Ordinary Life), explores everything that seems insignificant until we discover it was what mattered most.

Because life doesn’t always need an explanation. Sometimes it just needs a little noise.
